Call & Follow Up

A focused 45-minute call to troubleshoot a specific challenge, answer your questions, and create a clear action plan, plus one follow-up email for extra support.

A father sitting on the edge of his young daughter's bed at bedtime
  • 45-minute one-on-one call
  • One follow-up email
  • For children ages 2 to 7
  • Gentle, no cry-it-out

Who it's for

When a good sleeper hits a bump

This is for you if your child was an independent sleeper but is going through a challenge right now, maybe a sleep regression, a nap transition, or a life change like a new sibling or the start of daycare. You don't need a full program, you just need a clear plan to get back on track.

  • Your child was sleeping well, and a sleep regression has thrown things off.
  • A nap transition or a new schedule has bedtime off track.
  • A life change, like a new sibling or starting daycare, has unsettled sleep.
  • You want a clear plan for one specific challenge, not a full program.

What's included

A focused reset in one call

  • 45-minute consultation

We talk through your current sleep challenge, why it’s happening, and how to work through it.

  • A clear action plan

You leave the call with a verbal plan and specific next steps tailored to your child.

  • One follow-up email

After the call, send your questions and I’ll help you fine-tune as you go.

How it works

Simple from start to finish

  1. Book your call

Book the Call & Follow Up through the button on this page.

  2. A short family questionnaire

Tell Karen about your child, your routine and what has changed, so the call starts with the full picture.

  3. Your 45-minute call

Talk through your child's sleep and why the challenge is happening, and leave with a clear action plan.

  4. One follow-up email

Send your questions after the call, and Karen will help you fine-tune as you go.

The method

Prepare. Teach. Practice. Troubleshoot.

The plan we build on the call follows the same four-phase framework I use with every family I coach.

  1. Phase 1

    Prepare

Set your child (and your home) up for success, so you're not fighting an uphill battle every night.

  2. Phase 2

    Teach

Gently teach the skills your child needs to fall asleep, and stay asleep, on their own.

  3. Phase 3

    Practice

Help the new skills stick with encouragement and consistency, until they become your child's normal.

  4. Phase 4

    Troubleshoot

Know exactly what to do when early wakes, naps, or setbacks show up, because they will.

Questions

Good to know

Who is Call & Follow Up for?

Families whose child was an independent sleeper but is going through a challenge right now, like a sleep regression, a nap transition, or a life change such as a new sibling or starting daycare. It's for when you need a clear plan to get back on track, not a full program.

What happens after I book?

You complete a short family questionnaire, then we talk for 45 minutes about your child's sleep. You leave the call with a clear action plan, and you can send your questions in one follow-up email.

Do I get a written plan?

The plan is talked through on the call, with specific next steps for your child. If you'd like a written, personalized plan, Sleep Plan Only ($97) is a 10 to 15 page plan made for your family.

Do you use cry-it-out?

No. My approach is gentle and connection-based, tailored to your child and your comfort level.

What if we need more support?

If the challenge is bigger than one call, the Sleep Transformation Program ($797) gives you a customized plan and three weeks of daily text support.

Which option is right for us?

For one specific challenge, Call & Follow Up is a focused 45-minute call plus a follow-up email. If you'd rather follow a written plan on your own, Sleep Plan Only ($97) is a customized plan. For daily support through a bigger change, the Sleep Transformation Program ($797) is the most complete option. Not sure? Book a free intro call and talk it through with Karen.
